This series covers the large amount of material unissued during Bolan's lifetime, bringing together previously unheard finished songs, intriguing demos and rare out-takes, arranged chronologically.
UNCHAINED VOLUME 1: 1972 PART 1 The first collection in this series of Marc Bolan out-takes features a mixture of simple acoustic sketches - some under a minute long - electric home-taped demos, and blues inspired jams. The intimate home recordings, in particular, give a real sense of the songwriter in action - stripped down to basics and often revealing Marc Bolan's stream-of-consciousness prose style. It's not all unfamiliar material though, as also included are variations on a couple of better-known favorites.
UNCHAINED VOLUME 2: 1972 PART 2 As with the first part of this series, Marc Bolan's 1972 out-takes and home demos are many and varied, covering both familiar themes and less-expected blues-inspired songs and jams.
