THE FILM:
Somewhere in the South China Sea, lethal forces have emerged from the bottomless depths and probed the world's most lavish luxury liner. With indescribable power, amidst mounting terror, the vessel is transformed into a floating chamber of horrors. For a few survivors of the initial attack, including John Finnegan (Treat Williams) and a band of modern-day gunrunners, led by Hanover (Wes Studi), a living nightmare awaits.
In the middle of nowhere, escape seems impossible. It's a fight for survival in what turns out to be a floating chamber of horrors. "Deep Rising." This ain't no pleasure cruise.
The film hits 2,000 theaters January 30.
