This is Jann's third release, and the growth pattern is staggering. The debut release, Time For Mercy, introduced an unknown singer-songwriter from Calgary, and gave Jann a double platinum release in Canada and introduced Jann to the US marketplace. Her second album, Living Under June, cemented Jann as an enormous artist in Canada; selling 6 time platinum in Canada, plus giving her "Female Vocalist of the Year" and "Songwriter of the Year" at the 1995 Juno awards. In the U.S., Living Under June was certified Gold (worldwide sales of 1.3 million) and had a huge Top 10 track with "Insensitive." In addition, Jann contributed a song, "You Don't Know Me," on the OST to My Best Friend's Wedding which went to #17 on the Billboard 200 (#23 in Canada). Canada released the new album, HAPPY?, on September 23 and has sold over 50,000 units to date. Jann has been touring extensively in Canada to support the release and has received amazing press and strong support at all radio and video outlets in Canada. With a strong base in Canada, this will help springboard the release in the U.S.
